Eltham South Lodge

This sunny, self contained B&B set in an acre of bush garden sleeps up to four people and has everything you need for a home away from home stay. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed with quality bedding and electric blanket. The second bedroom has two single beds, both with electric blankets. The kitchen is equipped with a full gas stove, microwave oven and refrigerator. Supplies for a full or continental breakfast are provided including free range eggs, ground coffee and a range of teas. Relax in the lounge or your own private courtyard garden, cook up a barbeque, and enjoy the spectacular visiting parrots and nectar feeding birds. 

Internet access, telephone and fax services can be provided for business guests on request.

Eltham has an excellent range of restaurants and shops and is on the main train line to Melbourne. 

Eltham South Lodge is a short stroll away from the Montsalvat Artists' Community with its fascinating buildings and program of exhibitions, concerts and events. The local area has extensive parklands bordering the Yarra River and is known for its interesting heritage listed and mudbrick buildings including the Eltham Library and Community Centre. Children have a great time at the Diamond Valley Railway in Eltham Lower Park. The Yarrambat Public Golf Course and Eltham Bowls Club are nearby and the Eltham Leisure Centre has excellent swimming and gym facilities.

The wineries of the Yarra Valley are 20 minutes away. Meander through Christmas Hills to Chandon, De Bortoli and other great wineries of Yarra Glen and Healesville. Or visit the many boutique wineries and galleries scattered throughout the hills of Nillumbik. Take in a counter lunch at a country pub on your travels. The Lodge is the perfect place to stay for exploring this special part of Victoria.
