While staying or travelling in high bushfire risk areas, stay tuned to ABC Local Radio, Victoria’s official emergency services broadcaster. Other local radio stations may also provide weather and fire updates. 

If you are travelling in a high bushfire risk area, check the weather forecast and plan for your own safety. (For detailed weather forecasts go to www.bom.gov.au.)
