40th Annual Eltham Amateur Wine Show

Over 700 grape wines and country wines will be judged and available for tastings by the general public at The 40th Annual Eltham Amateur Wine Show organised by the Eltham & District Wine Makers Guild.

This is the largest amateur wine show in Australia with entries from every state. The perpetual Joe Ilian Trophy alternates between grape and country wines and this year will be awarded for the best sparkling white wine.

Meet the winemakers and discuss the techniques they use to make their wine. The results catalogue has judges' remarks for every wine submitted.

Light lunches will be available for purchase or bring a picnic and enjoy it in the grounds of the Eltham's Mudbrick Community Hall overlooking parklands. Just 30 minutes from the Melbourne CBD via the Eastern Freeway, or on the Metropolitan Train Line.
