Walkabout Gourmet Adventures began operating tours in 1986 and since then we have gained a reputation for offering quality walking holidays in Australia and in Europe. As our name infers, our tours are much more than just a "bush walk" but an introduction into the culinary delights of these wonderful regions.

We hope our guests are able to learn about the natural attractions of the areas we are visiting while enjoying an active holiday staying in comfortable and charming accommodation.

Our small groups are personalised ensuring that the individual needs of each guests are met. Our walking holidays in Victoria range from five to eight days. At Wilson's Promontory we have a five day tour where we discover one of Australia's most outstanding National Parks.

The "Prom" as it is affectionately known, is the most southerly point of our mainland and it encompasses both magnificent coastal and mountain scenery. It is a paradise for our native plants and the perfect habitat for our prolific wildlife.

The Grampians and Great Ocean Coastal Trail is an eight day tour which combines the majestic splendour of the rugged Grampian's National Park with the spectacular coast line of the Port Campbell and former Otway's National Park.

Our Lakes, Mountains and Vineyards tour begins in the magnificent Gippsland Lakes where we base ourselves in the stylish seaside resort of Metung.

From the sea we move up into the mountains and stay in Dinner Plain, Australia's newest alpine village. Here we enjoy the crisp mountain air and discover the Alpine National Park.

Our last two nights are spent in the famous Milawa Gourmet Region. In winter, enjoy the pristine beauty of Dinner Plain in the snow with our fully guided four day snow shoe walks.
