Outdoor activities – Phillip Island

The Nobbies - Phillip Island

Phillip Island offers plenty of exciting opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. Paddle in the shallows of a gentle bay beach, cruise the bay in a catamaran, kayak around Rhyll Inlet and observe the large populations of waterbirds or catch a wave on a surf beach at dawn.

Fishing is another popular activity on the island. Dangle a line from a jetty at Newhaven, San Remo or Cowes, or taking a fishing charter out into the Western Port – there are plenty of opportunities to make a catch.

On dry land, enjoy walks through stunning scenery or even hire a bike and cycle round the island.
