The State Library with its lovely art collection and the La Trobe Room are well worth adding to your schedule when visiting Melbourne. After the visit there an Italian lunch at Pellegrini's Espresso Bar, 66 Bourke St is a great experience especially if you sit at the large table out the back (viz the kitchen!).
