Venus Bay Eco Retreat is nestled in 15 acres of protected coastal bushland on beautiful Venus Bay Peninsula, with stunning sandy beaches and internationally significant wetlands. Cape Liptrap Coastal Park, Bunurong Marine National Park and Wilson’s Promontory National Park are close by.

The 'one only' accommodation cabin is ideal for couples or small groups seeking a unique holiday experience. Leave the car safely parked and walk or cycle, meet the local wildlife, or simply lay in the hammock and relax. The eco retreat is a great place to slow down and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.

The cabin design encourages guests to enjoy the private bushland setting with wide verandas, large picture windows and double doors opening to a large deck. The luxurious bathroom features solar heated rainwater and a bath tub for two with private bushland views. The bedroom is an open plan loft in the tree tops. The interior features colours inspired by the surrounding bushland, quality furnishings, original art works, reading library, MP3, I Pod and CD sound.

Tariff includes continental breakfast provisions, organic teas, freshly ground organic coffee, botanicals organic bathing products, linen, beach towels and free use of bicycles. Guided walks, massage, organic beauty treatments and food hampers are available by request. .

Venus Bay Eco Retreat opened in January 2009 and is the only Advanced Ecotourism certified retreat in South Gippsland. Seeing Australia's unique wildlife living in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. Commonly seen are kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, echidnas, blue-tongue lizards and many beautiful birds, plus more unusual creatures such as micro bats and native bees.
