The old mining township of Yackandandah is located between Beechworth and Albury Wodonga on the edge of the Kiewa Valley. Like its neighbour Chiltern, Yackandandah has featured in numerous Australian period films and has the added distinction of being classified an historic town by the National Trust.

Wander around the town's stately buildings to see the elaborate façades and decorative columns built during the gold rush of the 1800s. Take the Historic Buildings Street Walk and admire the ornate shops with their original fittings and features.
