The region is renowned for its sparkling wine, especially Hanging Rock's Macedon Cuvee. The Ranges' high altitude and cool climate is perfect for chardonnays and pinot noirs, including the iconic Bindi, Hanging Rock, Curly Flat and Cope-Williams. Shiraz and Riesling are worth looking out for, especially at the inviting Granite Hills.
