Spectacular natural scenery abounds throughout the region with the mighty timbers and magnificent waterfalls of the Otways, the lush green hills that roll down to long stretches of sandy beaches of the Great Ocean Road, the volcanic lakes, craters and wetlands of the Hinterland. Here you will find something for everyone to enjoy.

There are a number of delightful tearooms, galleries and restaurants scattered through the Otways, many offering lovely views and a range of local produce, art and craft.

Many restaurants feature local produce such as cheeses, ice-cream, seafood, beef, lamb and bread. And don't forget to ask about the local wines from the Otway foothills.

There are several district wineries with some offering a restaurant and accommodation. There are also several local gourmet food producers who have formed a Farmers' Market group.

There are plenty of active ways to experience the area, including cycling tours, joyflights, golf, fishing, waterfalls and bush walks.  Also located in the Otways is the Otway Fly Tree Top Walk, which is the longest and hightest of its kind in the world.  Call into see us at the Colac Information Cetnre and ask for directions.
